Rationale (Flash Fiction)



Birju cursed his fate one more time as he saw the heap of plates that lay before him. “Mother, you lied to me every time you said God is fair.” He thought as he began to empty the plates into the dustbin. By the time the restaurant would be closed the entire dustbin would be full with this remnants of food. He sighed and muttered to himself “ Here..these people have so much in abundance that they waste the food and my family there in village is fighting for having a square meal a day…what kind of fairness is this?
