Tonight... ( A Micropoem)

Today I will bury a dream somewhere in the shadows of the past.
Holding it will all the love and care I will lay it to rest...
For there is nothing onto that seeks it.
Tonight I will let go of a tear and along with the pain it holds deep within,
As they speak of all that shouldn't be spoken about.
Tonight I will give away all that wasn't mine till now but I thought otherwise ,
Not because it needs to be, but because that's the way it is supposed to be.
Tonight I will shed the last tear for you leaving behind all that was and could be
... and stare at what is.
Tonight I will cease being and just be.... me!

Something you want at that moment and you get it!”

What is love?

The moment I hear the question what is love? My answer always is this. Love is.  Those two words hold the entire meaning of love for me. When I was asked to write about my own version of love, my mind instantly ran to the nearest rescue I could find – music. For me, love is music, a song that your heart dances to and a rhythm that has the capacity to capture your soul. Love is the language of the universe, the one in which one soul converses with the other.
