Diary of a Lost Wanderer

'All is well that ends well ' , said my favourite author Shakespeare.Finally yet another year comes to end, though on a very sad note. 2012 has been more or less like a roller coaster for each one of us – personally, professionally and now nationally. This has made us think about things we never thought before and look at things with a different perspective altogether. It left us a bit shaken, hurt, moved, and angry but more than anything else it left us with hope- hope that tomorrow will be a new day, a new beginning towards a better world for each one of us. Source: Google Images Life is a book with very interesting chapters in it. Some are lengthy, some are short, some are difficult, and some are easy, some cheerful while some are painful. Many times we are at the end of one chapter, about to begin another with mixed emotions as we don’t want to leave the known and venture into the unknown. However painful it might have been there is a solace that it was there which holds us back from turning the page to a new chapter. That is when we need to remember that if we don’t turn the page now, we might never complete the book of life. There might be chapters better or worse than this, but the fact remains that this chapter is over. There is nothing more that you can do than just stand and stare at what had been or move on, turn the page and see what lies ahead.

One of my favourite author Preeti Shenoy’s 4 th book The Secret Wishlist is about to release and just like last time she is giving creative prompts on her blog urging us to write on them.This took me down the memory lane when last year around the same time I had participated in this and made some wonderful blogger friends.  It was truly a magical experience how within few weeks how we all had become like a small family – sharing and caring. Kashish entered her drawing room and looked around with pride. Her house was very tastefully decorated. She grasped her latest Italian piece of art tightly as she strode towards the lounge where she wanted to display it. From the corner of her eye she noticed her son and husband sitting on the couch busy meddling with something.
