Ahem...Ahem...

Last when I wrote a feel-good post I was badly looking for reasons to write one such post again to continue the trend. It was not long before I got the chance.

Well, if you have not got it till now let me spell it out for you. This post is going to be all about ME. Last week I have been bestowed upon the award of The Versatile Blogger by a very sweet fellow blogger - Swarnali.

So, here we go......Presenting My Award!
Its CUTE... isn't it?

I know these awards come with a lot of tags, but didn't I tell you I have been lucky? Well, Swarnali chose to do three tags in one post so I got a chance to select what questions would I love to answer here.I have already bored you guys with 7 random facts about Me, hence I would skip that portion and move directly to the questions.... I warned you before this post is going to be all about Me:

  • What's something your Mom always said to you that you thought you'd never hear yourself say?
She hates my reading a lot - not because of anything else. She only introduced me to it. But when I read I am lost in it, oblivious to the surroundings and she hates this particular habit of mine. And my books are something I can never hear anything against from anyone.
  • What's your favorite childhood story and why?
Cindrella - For Me it spells HOPE. Hoping for a better tomorrow, not hurt by the painful today and facing everything that comes your way with a smile!
  • How would others describe your personality?
That I would leave for 'others' to answer, but the most common compliment I get to hear is ' Emotional Fool'
  •  What kind of music do you like to listen to?
Soft numbers. Mostly instrumental, classical, ghazals and old -romantic Bollywood songs. My current favourites are ' Pani Da' ( Vicky Donor) & 'Maula'( Jism 2).
  • What is your favorite song of all time?
'Ae jindagi gale lage le...'  for Me this denotes the magical secret of survival This too shall pass. I sing this when I am happy or sad, because I yearn to be accepted as I am.
  • Do you have a big intellectual capacity and do you think that it alone equates wisdom? Yes or no and why?
Intellectual Capacity - Yes. Big or not - No idea.  Intellectual capacity does not equate wisdom as wisdom comes from various other things as well like experience, age, maturity etc.
  • If you could create a charitable organization, what would you hope to accomplish and to whom would the proceeds benefit the most?
I would love to do something for the children. I strongly believe childhood is the most precious time of one's life and nothing on this earth should deprive them of it. It hurts to see problems like poverty, unemployment, illiteracy take away the innocence from their faces along with their smiles.
  • How do you deal with stress?
Well, that depends on the amount of stress. But majorly dancing and music. They are instant mood changers and when things go beyond my control then meditation.
  • Have you read any good books lately? Which ones?
I have read a lot of books lately like Custody, The Secret of Nagas, Immortals of Meluha, Chicken Soup for the Indian Couple's Soul, Soul Curry . Like the flowing river...etc but I loved Autobiography of a Yogi the most.
  • If you could tell the world just one thing, what would it be and why?
Love, laugh, live, forgive, forget and move on!

Whoa....finally... I managed to talk so much only about myself. This is a feat in itself as I hate talking about Me! Now I am finally feeling good....!!
