Memories- a poem

Today's PROMPT is

Passing through the clutches of time,
reaching a crescendo of their own;
I hold onto them tightly
To see what I have sown.
Walking through the realms of my mind,
Seeing all that I have known.
Holding moments tightly in my tiny fists,
I breathe life in them from some of my own.
Laughing, crying, living and dying,
They hold a part of me somewhere deeply sown
For memories are the seeds
from which beautiful trees of love and hope have grown.

  2. I love poetry and absolutely adore your poem. "Holding moments tightly in my tiny fists,
    I breathe life in them from some of my own" - how we relive them over and over again. Then even the ones that make is sad now, bring us joy then. Awesome.

  11. Now I know how beautiful a poem can be. I'm not much of a poetry person.. And barely enjoy one unless it's one of the oldies from the good old school days. But this was lovely.
